Attending the annual Devon County Show and supporting agriculture and countryside businesses and organisations is one of the highlights of Paul Borrow-Longain’s social year.
The Devon County Show gives farmers, rural businesses, equestrians and the general public an opportunity to come together and celebrate all the amazing traditional activities associated with our beautiful countryside.
Paul is therefore proud to have been a Vice-President for the last few years, and looks forward to attending the three-day event in May, after reviewing his membership.
The event always attracts outstanding equestrians, many travelling large distances to attend, as well as a range of other displays including the popular hounds and carriage driving the contests. Outside of the arenas, you’ll find a wealth of craft businesses displaying their products, local food manufacturers (including my favourite fudge from Edwards Fudge Kitchen), historic agriculture equipment alongside their cutting-edge replacements, as well as a very informative “military village”.
