Mr Borrow-Longain is honoured to have been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
As the highest civilian award of the Commonwealth the commission is signed by both the Governor and the Secretary of State of Kentucky.
Colonels are formally recognised as honorary Aides-de-Camp to the Head of Government of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and as such are entitled to the title of Honourable as well as their rank.
