Mr Borrow-Longain has a lifelong interest in history, especially the military history of the United Kingdom globally. One of his favourite periods of history is the Peninsula and Napoleonic Wars and the campaigns of Field Marshal The Duke of Wellington.
Therefore he has renewed his commitment and membership of the Friends of the Lines of Torres Vedras, which is a charity dedicated to promoting and supporting the preservation of the Lines of Torres Vedras, and whose patron is His Grace The Duke of Wellington.
