Donation to The Royal British Legion on the anniversary of Operation Dynamo

On the anniversary of the launch of Operation Dynamo, D-Day, the start of the Liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany, Paul Borrow-Longain has made a donation to The Royal British Legion.

Mr Borrow-Longain said “if it wasn’t for the bravery and dedication to the cause of democracy by the armed forces of the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and others on the beaches of Normandy in 1944, the history and freedoms of Europeans and potentially the world would be far different. While there are very few veterans of the Second World War, the work of The Royal British Legion remains as important today as it always has been.”
